Established in 1952, Sulphur Springs Livestock Auctions is owned and operated by David Fowler and Joe Don Pogue. We have a combined experience of 100+ years in the cattle industry. This experience and knowledge helps in making sound business and marketing decisions for you, our customers.
All new customers are welcome and we appreciate all the buyers and sellers that have done business with us in the past. We welcome early consignments and will advertise with enough advance notice.
Our facility is one of the best-maintained and cleanest in this area. A large air-conditioned auditorium makes for comfortable surroundings for the buyers and sellers to enjoy the sale. The restaurant is open on sale day. There is plenty of parking for trucks, pickups and trailers with a truck stop 2 miles away.
Employees experienced in handling the cattle are on duty at all times for our customers convenience! Both owners of Sulphur Springs Livestock Auctions are experienced auctioneers and cattlemen with one of them in the ring or selling at all times during the sale. Sulphur Springs Livestock Auctions is home of the 1988 World Champion Livestock Auctioneer, “Joe Don Pogue”.

Sulphur Springs Livestock sits on Highway 154, about a mile south of I-30 in Sulphur Springs, TX, halfway between Dallas and Texarkana TX. We host the NETBIO Pre-Conditioned Stocker/Feeder Calf and Yearling Sale 8 Times a Year.
